Our Story

Welcome to Little Dots Boutique! I’m Lucy, a wife and Mum to two gorgeous little boys. Having my own business was something that I have always dreamt of, so whilst I was on maternity leave with my youngest, I felt it was the perfect time to put my skills to the test and try to make it become a reality.

As parents, we all know how important it is to provide opportunities for our little ones to learn and develop from an early age, and the best way to do this is through play. I love choosing toys for my little ones to play and learn with, and have always been drawn to the ones that are made from wood. I have found them to be more durable than plastic toys and a lot more aesthetically pleasing too. But, the main thing for me, is that they are a safer, more environmentally friendly option. Because of this, I wanted to be able to provide wooden alternatives to all of the plastic toys that we see on the market, that are just as fun and offer all of the same, if not more, developmental opportunities for babies and children.

After a lot of research into the right type of products and manufacturers, along with some late nights after the boys had gone to bed, I was able to put together a collection of beautifully crafted wooden toys from trusted manufacturers, that produce safe, sustainable and environmentally friendly products all in one place and Little Dots Boutique was born!

Since starting the business, the product range has grown to include sustainable alternatives to other baby and toddler products, such as nursery decor and accessories and soft toys.
